Semi trailer in Sheboygan to aid Haiti church mission

A semi trailer is in Sheboygan, Wis., this weekend to be loaded with supplies and shipped to a church mission in Marche-Canard, Haiti, which was swarmed by 40,000 refugees after the Jan. 12 earthquake.

The trailer, donated by Con-way Inc., headquartered in San Mateo, Calif., is parked on the northeast corner of North Avenue and Calumet Drive to collect donations Saturday and Sunday, March 27-28 for the Haiti Evangelical Christian Church Mission.

The trailer will be stationed in Sheboygan to allow the community to donate money and supplies to the mission. Volunteers will man the donation site from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. both days.

Help for Heroes Charity – Shaun Clarks tattooing fundriasing event

Shaun Clark from Doncaster UK along side with Kevin Kent from Fantasy Tattoo Studio Doncaster http://www.tattoostudiodoncaster.co.uk, organised a fund raising event for Help the Heroes. The fundraising event started on the 11th November 2009 at 11:00am to commemorate rememberance day and to support Help For Heroes Charity.

Help for Heroes raises money to support members of the Armed Forces who have been wounded in the service of their country. We ask our supporters to do their bit to show these extraordinary young men and women that they are cared for by us.

Over a million people have responded to date and millions of pounds have been raised to buy much needed services that will aid their recovery, but we need more! So far, we have allocated almost all of the money we have raised in order to fund direct projects and support other service charities. Please give generously. Thank You!
